Bosun's Marine Peabody Annual Provincetown Rendezvous | New England Boating Tradition

Bosun's Marine Peabody Annual Provincetown Rendezvous: Four Days of Boating, Friendship, and New England Tradition

Every August, the docks at Provincetown Marina fill with a familiar sight—boats flying Bosun's Marine burgee flags, owners reconnecting with friends, and the start of one of New England's most anticipated boating traditions.

The Bosun's Peabody Annual Provincetown Rendezvous has become much more than a customer event. It's a four-day celebration of the boating lifestyle that brings together owners from across Massachusetts and New England for a long weekend filled with cruising, social events, waterfront adventures, and lasting friendships.

From Thursday through Sunday, Provincetown becomes home base for a community of boaters who share a passion for life on the water.

More Than a Destination—A Tradition

While Provincetown is one of Cape Cod's most iconic boating destinations, it's the people that make the Rendezvous special.

Each year, Bosun's Marine customers arrive aboard a wide variety of boats, from Pursuit offshore models and Sportsman center consoles to Regal cruisers, Tiara Yachts, Riviera motor yachts, Sunseeker yachts, EdgeWater boats, Belize motoryachts, and AB Inflatables tenders.

Some owners have attended for years. Others are experiencing their first Rendezvous. By the end of the weekend, everyone feels like part of the same boating family.

Four Days of Activities On and Off the Water

The Provincetown Rendezvous is designed to showcase everything that makes boating in New England so enjoyable.

Throughout the weekend, Bosun's organizes a full schedule of activities that give owners the opportunity to explore Provincetown, enjoy time on the water, and connect with fellow boaters.

Popular traditions include:

Early Morning Fishing Excursions

For anglers, the day often begins before sunrise. Boats depart the marina early to take advantage of some of Cape Cod's world-class fishing opportunities before returning to share stories back at the docks.

Group Breakfasts and Waterfront Gatherings

Each morning starts with coffee, breakfast, and conversation among owners. These casual gatherings often become the setting for exchanging cruising routes, favorite destinations, and boating advice.

Provincetown Dune Tours

A longtime favorite, the dune tours provide a unique way to experience the natural beauty of the Cape Cod National Seashore while taking a break from the docks.

Traditional New England Clambake

No Provincetown Rendezvous would be complete without a classic New England clambake. Fresh seafood, waterfront views, and great company make this one of the weekend's signature events.

On-Water Dinghy Races

A little friendly competition is always part of the fun. Owners gather for informal dinghy races that bring plenty of laughs and memorable moments.

Casino Night and Evening Social Events

As the sun sets, the festivities continue with themed events, dinners, entertainment, and one of the weekend's most anticipated traditions—Casino Night.

Dockside Music and Social Gatherings

Live entertainment and DJ music provide the perfect backdrop for evenings spent catching up with fellow owners and celebrating another day on the water.

Building the Bosun's Marine Community

The Provincetown Rendezvous reflects something Bosun's Marine has always believed: boating is about more than the boat itself.

It's about creating opportunities for families and friends to spend time together. It's about exploring new destinations, meeting new people, and becoming part of a community that shares a common passion for the water.

For many attendees, the friendships formed through Bosun's events become just as valuable as the destinations they visit.

Why Owners Return Year After Year

Ask anyone who has attended the Provincetown Rendezvous, and you'll hear a similar response.

It's not just the fishing. It's not just the clambake. It's not just the beautiful Cape Cod scenery.

It's the people.

The event has become a summer tradition because it brings together boaters who enjoy cruising throughout New England and creates an environment where lasting friendships are formed.

That's what keeps owners returning every August.

Experience the Bosun's Marine Lifestyle

At Bosun's Marine, our commitment extends beyond boat sales. We strive to create opportunities for owners to enjoy their boats, discover new destinations, and become part of a thriving New England boating community.

Whether you're interested in a Pursuit, Regal, Tiara, Riviera, Sunseeker, Belize, Sportsman, EdgeWater, or AB Inflatables, you're joining more than a dealership—you're joining a community.

We look forward to seeing familiar faces and welcoming new ones at next year's Bosun's Peabody Annual Provincetown Rendezvous.
